Personal Introduction

Hello, my name is Rebecca Hickey and I am currently a sophomore here at UAF. I am very excited about pursuing a degree in elementary education and I can't wait to finally be in my own classroom someday. I am currently a math tutor at Anne Wien Elementary School as well as volunteer in two classrooms within this same school. I also just recently moved here from Rio Rancho, New Mexico in August, so I'm definitely enjoying the drastic change of scenery. In my spare time, I enjoy playing with my five nieces and nephews, running and anything involving exploring the great Alaskan outdoors.
